"Plaza 1866”, is a listed neoclassic building, which has been classified as “historic monument” by the Greek Ministry of Culture and whose history is intertwined with the social life of Chania.
It is located in the most central square of Chania (the homonymous 1866 Square), only a few minutes away from the Old Town, the Venetian Harbor, the Municipal Market of Chania, the Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral of Chania (Trimartiri), and the Central Bus Station (KTEL). In the surrounding area, there are a lot of restaurants, shops, bars, and nightclubs.
Most rooms overlook the square and the city of Chania. Just outside the building, there is an ATM and the central taxi stand.
